The Tukee Nepal Society has made significant strides in advancing education within the village, particularly for children from minority groups who previously did not attend school due to financial constraints or familial obligations on the farm. This organization not only covers educational expenses such as school fees, but also provides essential supplies including books, pens, and school uniforms. Each student is given a new set of clothes annually, comprising a winter sweater and socks, allowing them to reuse their previous sets at home. This strategy effectively persuades parents to prioritize their children's education by alleviating the burden of additional clothing expenses. So far, the society has successfully sponsored the education of 30 students, two of whom have secured employment. Efforts are ongoing to help the remaining graduates find jobs. Currently, the society sponsors 260 students across various educational levels, from primary school to university.
