Maa Annapurna Temple located in Indore is considered to be one of the most famous and old temples. This temple was built in 1959 by Mahamandaleshwar Swami Prabanandagirimaraj. The temple is dedicated to Annapurna, the goddess of food, and houses idols of Sivan, Hanuman and Kalabhairava. It also has a 14.5 feet high idol of Lord Shiva in lotus position.
