Mobile forensics is the process of recovering digital evidence from mobile devices using accepted methods. Unlike traditional digital forensics processes, mobile forensics solely focuses on retrieving information from mobile devices such as smartphones, androids, and tablets.The forensics process for mobile devices broadly matches other branches of digital forensics; however, some particular concerns apply. Generally, the process can be broken down into three main categories: seizure, acquisition, and examination/analysis.
